Stickers are a great way to add some personality to your planner. We’ve all seen the cute stickers with inspirational quotes and funny sayings, but what about the ones that can be used for planning? Ideally, your planner stickers should work hard for you too.

Full Box Planner Stickers
These are stickers that have a purpose and are helpful in your planner. They can be anything from the obvious (like a label for your calendar) to something more unique (like a sticker of your favorite animal).
I love these types of stickers because they help me stay organized but also make my planner pretty at the same time. And best of all, these examples have check boxes. Nothing feels better than checking box and getting an instant sense of satisfaction!

Mini stickers are a great alternative to full-sized planner stickers. They’re smaller than standard stickers, which is ideal if you’re using a small planner, like the popular Hobonichi Techo or Inkwell Press planners. Mini stickers also work well with travel planners and bullet journals.
Washi Planner Stickers
Washi tape is a great way to add color and pattern to your planner. It’s also an easy way to add a personal touch, and it works in various ways.
For example, you can use washi tape as dividers between sections in your planner or decorative headers that help make your weekly spreads more interesting.
I personally like to use washi tape as elements (like the dots here) that provide color coordinated elements I can use in many different ways. I never run out of ways to use basic elements like this so they wind of being a really good deal.
You can even use washi tape for task lists—write the names or descriptions of your tasks on the back of each strip, so they’re easy to see when you go through them with a dry erase marker.

Etsy is an online marketplace for handmade, vintage, and one-of-a-kind items. You can find everything from art and jewelry to clothing and home decor there. Etsy is also a great place to buy planner stickers because they’re unique and customizable (you can choose the size and shape of your stickers), and it’s a great way to support artists.
It’s easy to get lost in the possibilities there! But it’s also a great place to jump start your own creativity and get ideas on how you want to enhance your planner and skyrocket your productivity.
